The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) works in partnership with local communities and private providers to assist people who have developmental disabilities and their families. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federal-state program that helps people who have physical or mental disabilities get or keep a job. VR is committed to helping people with disabilities find meaningful careers.
Tallahassee Community College Eagle Connections is a postsecondary comprehensive transition program for students with intellectual disabilities. The course of study includes career exploration and planning, personal development, internship and/or work experience, and social activities designed to promote gainful employment and increased independence.
